Find out more about us below:
The original primary school was opened in 1876 at Butlocks Heath. The present school building was opened in 1974. The accommodation is made up of nine classroom areas situated around a library and ICT suite. In January 2004 a new wing consisting of two classrooms and a shared area was added. There are at present three mobile classrooms on site.
There is a spacious reception area and the school hall which contains storage facilities for PE is where school assemblies PE and Drama lessons and other school functions take place. This is also where packed lunches are eaten and school meals provided by HC3S are prepared, served and eaten.
There are two playground areas and extensive playing fields. The school grounds are extensively planted and provide a pleasant environment for the pupils. There is a Millennium Garden where parents can collect and drop off their children at the start and finish of the school day.
The school has a wealth of resources, alongside the quality teaching staff, with a well stocked library and hi-tech ICT suite with an interactive whiteboard. Currently four of our classrooms have interactive whiteboards with the aim of introducing this hardware to further classrooms in the new year.

Our well stocked library is a place for quiet reading, research or shared reading and is a mine of information. |
